PEKEKE at The Brooklyn Monarch 07/15/22
Pekeke is a band with Puerto Rican heritage members. They sing in Spanish and they play a hard rock heavy metal kinda of music with a lot of 90’s influences such as Marin Manson and Rob Zombie on the back end.
This was out first time in front of them so much more info we don’t about them but from what we experienced, their frontman is a very charismatic character that get a cross the messages very well with the way that he placed himself onto the stage.

MALA ENTRAÑA at The Brooklyn Monarch 07/15/22
Mala Entraña is a local band. Most of its members have Ecuadorian heritage. They play a variety of heavy riffs and styles but the one that shows immediately is deathcore. They have been around for sometime playing in most of the metal venues in NYC including, Saint Vitus, La Boom and Q Studio to mention some. They are waiting on the release of their album and currently are doing a small tour including Maryland.

PUYA at The Brooklyn Monarch 07/15/22
First time experiencing PUYA. It was great to hear those songs that for years have been going around. They came and did what they do best, a mixture of metal and latin flavors which they have been pushing through since their beginnings. They announced their new album and an upping tour to the states so I hope to be able to see them again at that time.
